About Us
Sisu Handyman & Remodeling Services is co-owned by myself, Aarne Riutta, and Kyle Peters. We met during a large project remodeling eight buildings for Mid-Michigan Recovery Services, an organization serving the Greater Lansing Area that provides rehabilitation services and safe, supportive housing for those in recovery from substance use disorders. After working closely together reconditioning and modernizing both the men’s and women’s rehab facilities and six total sober living houses, we decided to go into business together in 2022.
With backgrounds in construction, apartment maintenance, and antique furniture repair, restoration, and refinishing, we have nearly 20 years of combined experience. In addition, we are fully licensed and insured, with a Michigan Builder's License that covers demolition, repairs, improvements, and new construction in both residences and combined residential and commercial spaces.
